Our Genealogy in Print
The Hartwells of America and its original founders have been publishing printed genealogies of our kinfolk since 1887. The most recent and scholarly of these was published in 2007 as The Descendants of William Hartwell, Concord Settler, 1636 Through Five Generations, authored by Joy F. Peach.

We are now Digital: The Genealogy Flash Drive!
Due to the high cost of print publication, it was decided to produce future Hartwell genealogies in digital format. In 2019, we published a flash drive containing a .pdf file with the contents of the 2007 book, plus a second .pdf file containing generations Six through Nine.
In February 2024, we updated the flash drive to include Generations Ten through Twelve - see the announcement on our Flash Drive page. Both the book and the flash drive are available in our online store.

Future Plans
Editor Marilyn Booth Manzella has completed incorporating most of files left by Joy Peach into our Hartwell Genealogy. Joy passed in October, 2022 and served as the Association Genealogist for 47 years. Depending on feedback and additional contributions, we may continue to update the flash drive in the future. Updates would include additional generations beyond 12 as well as new documented information on any families not yet contained in Generations 10-12.
